5 Stars Just what I was looking for
I have owned this book for several months now and have tried about 10-12 recipies. All have been very good to great!! What makes the book worth every penney for me is it explains in detail the tricks needed to achieve great tasting grilled BBQ. I’m one that needs step by step instructions with background info on “why” as well as how. This book is very good at explaining all you need to know to create absolutly great BBQ. I have also purchased his Ribs Ribs outrageous Ribs since, and every recipe so far has been just as good. I’m hooked!

I bought this book a few months ago, and absolutely love it. I have flagged pages for so many recipes that I haven’t even been able to get to all of them yet! This is my new “go-to” cookbook..I’ve tried at least 2 new recipe’s every week and have not had a single disappointment. My family has already discovered some new favorites, and we’re looking forward to more. This would make a fantastic Bridal Shower gift!

4 Stars Working well so far.
I have only had this pan a few weeks, but it is working well so far. I have used it 10 or 12 times.
I read about the handle being too heavy and making the pan tip if the lid wasn’t on it. I am not seeing that problem with mine.
The pan is not as thick as others I have had and it only needs to have medium heat or lower.

Bill Gurstelle is a great maker who takes on ambitious projects and then shares them. This book follows in his great tradition of awesome books that combine great projects with storytelling. Besides being a book that gives you a roadmap for making life more interesting, it’s got great projects and Bill’s storytelling ability makes it a great read. Even if you want to live the dangerous life from an armchair perspective, you’ll love this book! I give this book 5 stars for sheer entertainment value and for inspiring me to live life closer to the edge!
